YES, FRIENDS, the chairman just got back to non-civilization, err, civilization. Got back bleary eyed 3 nites ago from Beijing after a month there. Arrived at the Vancouver airport and gulped back a ton of suger in the form of a Tim Hortons brand new iced cappuccino and a yikes … glazed donut — like a REAL donut coated in icing. Sublime. Have had enuf , for now, of spicy soupy noodles, cooked jellyfish, tomatoey cabbage slices, translucent lobster eggs, black dinosaur eggs coated in yellowish sulfur stains and exotic fruit drinks containing tapioca like beans swishing around. Coffee, fried eggs and bacon PLEASE !

Got lots to tell, and report to you in the next several days about my month at Renmin Daxue (people’s university) in Beijing and what tantalizingly transpired in my quest to perform at the Beijing Games …
